About Me

Tired of getting the same sports analysis on a daily basis. Don't worry, I am too. That's why I decided to create Sports on the Side, in order to get my opinion out there in the world. I was actually inspired by a former class mate of mine, Jake Levin. He came up with a sports blog, and I thought it was a good idea. I also could potentially use this as a resume booster as an example of my writing.

I'm a student at Pace University studying Media and Communications. I hope to one day break into the field of sports media. Whether it be as an anchor on a sports network, a play by play announcer for a network, or a sports writer.

I've loved sports ever since I was little and my family first introduced me to the wonderful world of sports. And since writing is something i'm pretty good at, why not make a blog?

I was a writer for the Hingham High School Harborlight newspaper and a Disc Jockey at Pace's radio station WPAW.  I couldn't do WPAW this semester because of the huge amount of school work I had; but I plan on returning in the fall as a sports talk show host.

I've been introduced to various people in the field over the years through the scolastic play by play sports broadcasting camp. ESPN"s Sal Palantonio being the biggest name. New Jersey Nets Radio voice Tim Capstraw is another notable name I have met.

I hope you all enjoy what I have to say. Happy reading.
